Beyond Ourselves is a UK Christian charity that works with communities in Zambia to provide them with much needed education and nutrition. Throughout the year events are held to support the school charity Beyond Ourselves. Workers from the charity, both those based in the UK and Zambia have visited the school to discuss the impact fundraising has on the lives of other people.

We have celebrated the charity in school on several occasions by holding a non-uniform day, which resulted in the school raising money for Beyond Ourselves. Pupils have also participated in a sponsored read-a-thon in order to raise money. Class discussions have also taken place to encourage pupils to think about how their lives compare to children in other locations.
